Privacy
People read health sites about things they haven't told anyone. This one is built to collect as little as possible.
What this site does not do
There is no advertising and no ad network, so nothing here is building a profile of you to sell. There are no third-party tracking scripts, no social media pixels, and no cookies used to follow you between sites. Nothing you read here is tied to your identity.
If you use the contact form
The name, email address and message you type are sent to Netlify, which hosts this site, and forwarded to a private inbox. They are used to reply to you and for nothing else — never added to a mailing list, never shared, never sold. Ask and they'll be deleted.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs — including IP addresses — for security and to keep the service running. That's ordinary infrastructure logging rather than anything this site chose to collect, and it isn't used to analyse you.
Fonts
Typefaces are currently loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads. We're planning to serve them from this domain instead so that request stops happening.
Analytics
There is no analytics on the site today. When it's added it will be a cookieless, privacy-preserving tool that counts visits without identifying visitors — which is also why you won't be asked to dismiss a cookie banner. This page will be updated before that goes live.
Your rights
If you're in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to ask what data is held about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. Given the above, that will almost always be a contact form message and nothing more. Ask and it's done.
